I bought this book hoping to learn more about the life of "Mikey" and how things turned out for him since the first book had little information about his new life and his new relationship.Mikey's journey takes him through several more short-term and drama-filled relationships, horrid living arrangements and harrowing experiences at the hands of other gypsies, criminals, his father and more.

Gypsy boy Mikey Walsh is back to share in stories of his troubled teens and turbulent twenties, witness his painful experiences of first love and explore his anguish at growing up. Recalling the tears and laughter of emotional impact delivered by his previous book, it would be foolish not to accept an invitation like that.

Found this sequel better than the first Gypsy Boy, a great read and I devoured it in one sitting, but still difficult to believe the entire truth of it, since the author was still basically illiterate when he wrote it. But interesting if you read it for what it is whether he wrote it or not, and not analyze too deep.
